Its name shows that it is a cat but unfortunately bobcat is one of the fiercest cats usually found in the forests of America and Canada. Bobcat belongs to the cat family and its appearance is more like a tiger or cheetah. But it is double in size as compared to the domestic cat. If domestic cat is fifteen inches long then the bobcat will be almost 30 inches long. It is greyish brown in color with black spots on its body but the spots on legs are striped shape and are distinct from the rest of the spots. Its colorful spotty body allows it to camouflage in times of danger. Its tail is stubby and almost four to seven inches long. The ears of this mammal are pointed and upright. It can also survive without eating for long but once the prey is abundant then there will be no sacrifice on hunger.
